Yes. Not an expert, but isn't there a rule that they won't despawn if they can't move 20 (?) blocks in any direction? This was to keep fenced mobs from despawning, but a mob in a boat can't move either, right? That was the old rule for passive mobs like cows, pigs, chickens, and sheep. For hostile mobs, you either have to name them or if they
This mod lets you either change the "1 in 50" chance to something like a "1 in 5" or even a "1 in 1" chance, and optionally to reverse the check (so, say, only 1 in 50 villages are not zombie villages). Additionally, there is (in 1.1.0) an option to make zombie villagers not burn in daylight, as if they were a regular villager.
Lack of proper breeding can also make villagers disappear; The Mystery of Naming and Despawning. There’s a debate within the Minecraft community about whether naming villagers can prevent despawning. Some believe that villagers despawn if not properly named. However, others contend that name tags are the ultimate solution to prevent despawning.

Set the "ZombieVillager" score to 1 for zombies with IsVillager set to 1. /scoreboard players set @e[type=Zombie] ZombieVillager 1 {IsVillager:1b} Teleport those zombies to the void. /tp @e[type=Zombie,score_ZombieVillager_min=1] ~ -64 ~ 1.9. Commands to run in numerical order. Apply "ZombieVillager" label for zombies with IsVillager set to 1.

This could be a problem with your computer. As @creulcat said, Please include more information in your question. Option 1: Please turn off your computer, leave it to cool off, turn it on, open Minecraft, comment if it worked. Option 2: If Option 1 didn't work, try this: Launch Minecraft with more RAM, comment if this worked.
A hoglin is a breedable hostile mob found in the Nether, and a source of porkchops and leather. Hoglins are repelled by warped fungi that is placed in the world as well as active nether portals and respawn anchors. It attacks by thrusting its tusks upward, which can also launch its target a short distance into the air. Baby hoglins behave similarly, but have a much weaker attack (the weakest
Will a zombie villager Despawn?Aug 23, 2014Chunk loading has little to do with mobs despawning. At over 32m from the player, mobs have a chance to despawn at
I've been curing lots of zombie villagers to be on the inside of my drained ocean monument. Thus far I've cured a total of 7 zombie villagers, and gotten amazing trades from all of them, one with efficiency 5, another with thorns three, another with mending, another with unbreaking three, and so on.
I had a villager with a mending trade in my base and somehow, I don't know how, the villager turned into to a zombie. My question is: will he despawn if I go brew a weakness potion? It is quite far away. He was already at the name tag lvl and I really don't want to lose either the villager nor the mending trade. This thread is archived.
