The line-up looked like that of a mainstream family hatchback rather than a value-orientated Korean offering and on acquaintance with the cee'd, it was clear that the car's leanings were very much in that direction too. The driving experience and particularly the interior quality were better than anything Kia had yet come up with.

A 2009 1.6 CRDi will not have a DPF, as you say its Euro4 and they did not start fitting them until the Euro 5 cars made for the 2011 model years which were shipped to the UK from Sepetember 2010 onwards. But all 2.0 CRDi Ceeds did have a DPF fitted since it was the old belt drive engine.
